Madonna tops Forbes Highest-Grossing Female Musicians Of 2007

Madonna has topped Forbes Magazine’s countdown of the Highest-Grossing Female Musicians of 2007.
The $72 million Celebrity beat out stars like Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion for the Number One spot. Forbes list goes on with Shakira, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Faith Hill, Dixie Chicks and Mariah Carey. In compiling the list, Forbes examined concert grosses, merchandising revenue, album sales and additional revenue from other businesses - including fragrance deals and endorsements.

The Top 20 Cash Queens of Music, according to Forbes:

1. Madonna - $72 million
2. Barbra Streisand - $60 million
3. Celine Dion - $45 million
4. Shakira - $38 million
5. Beyonc? - $27 million
6. Gwen Stefani - $26 million
7. Christina Aguilera - $20 million
8. Faith Hill - $19 million
